Xiaomi Stops Update MIUI Global Beta From July 1st
Chinese Electronics Giant, Xiaomi is quite popular in the Smartphone Market with various types of smartphones for consumers. In order to provide stable updates on their future phones, the tech giant has decided to stop its global beta updates.
Xiaomi is sending out the MIUI beta update testers for a different reason. From July 1st, there will be no MIUI Beta update to test on Xiaomi devices.
The company has announced this on the official MIUI Community Forum. Xiaomi is sending out their updates via Beta and Stable editions. But from July 1st, there will be only Stable update available and no Beta ROM for Xiaomi devices. The company has further added that there will be no changes in the stable edition release.
If you have tested the MIUI Beta update on your Xiaomi device then you need not worry after this decision as the company also said that they will release the stable version of MIUI updates more often than before. Yes, so we will receive the stable version of the update as soon as it is released and we won’t have to wait for any longer.
If from a technical side, then you might be aware of the beta updates of the Operating System and ROM. The beta update is meant to test the new update and its features. It brings a lot of bugs and issues that need to be fixed in the stable version, The main purpose of the beta update is to receive feedback from users to fix all the bugs and other issues in the stable version.
The Stable version should not bring any bugs and it should run smoothly on all devices. Beta releases are not intended for public and will not help them. Due to that reason, Xiaomi stopped updating its Beta ROM i.e. MIUI.
This news has made it clear that there will be no MIUI 11 update for its global variant at least for now. We will hear more about the decision made by Xiaomi in the coming days, stay tuned!
