How to Set Text Duration on TikTok Videos

Previously, to be able to set the duration of the text in TikTok videos, we needed a video editing application. After the video is finished, we upload it to our TikTok account.

However, thanks to this feature we can easily set the duration of the video text directly using the TikTok application. In addition to setting the duration of the text, we can also set the duration for how long the text will be displayed on the video.

Now let’s get to the guide:

1. Open the TikTok application and then press the + icon to create a new video, according to the concept you prepared earlier. After the video is finished, press the Aa menu to add text to the video.

2. Type the text you want to appear in the video. You can also choose the color of the text you want to use and display the background in the text. When you have finished typing the text you want to display, press Done.

3. Set size and position of the text in the video according to your needs. To be able to set the duration of the text, press once on the text and then select the Set duration menu.

4. Now you can set how many seconds the text will appear on the TikTok video. And, you can also set the duration (seconds) how long, the text will be displayed. Press checklist to save the text settings and done.

5. Follow the same steps to set the duration of other texts in your TikTok videos. However, if the Set duration feature is not yet available in the TikTok app, you can simply upgrade the app on your device to the latest version.

Just by following a few steps above, you can set the duration of the text in your TikTok video. In addition to setting the duration of the text, you can also set the duration for how long the text will be displayed.
